Q.E.N.P lies around 80 kilometers south of Fort Portal. It is one of the most popular parks in Uganda covering four different types of landscape and inhabiting almost a hundred species of mammals including elephants, hippos, leopards and lions. In the southern part you can also find the famous tree climbing lions.
The density and diversity of primates in Kibale National Park is the highest in the whole of Africa. The most popular of its 13 species are the chimpanzees, our closest relative. Kibale’s 1450 chimpanzees indicate Uganda’s biggest population of this threatened primate. Other mammals are also present, though they are hardly seen.
We can arrange for you the booking of Chimp or Gorilla Permits. You will need a permit if you would like to track the chimpanzees in Kibale National Park or the mountain gorillas in Bwindi National Park. Our service fee for booking the chimp permit is 15$ per permit and 40$ for a gorilla permit. Our service fee is additional to the costs of the permit. A gorilla permit is 700$ all year round. A chimp permit costs 200$, chimp habituation experience is 250$ and Gorilla habituation is now at 1500$ per permit per person.
Our well trained drivers and tour guides will take you wherever you would like to go all over Uganda. We have vehicles of different sizes, types (2x2/4x4) and accompanying equipment like a convertible roof if you’re in for game drives. Booking yourself a vehicle will mean getting both the vehicle you need, and a driver; all at a reasonable fare. However, we also offer cars for you to drive yourself!
